It covers ICC’s Tall Wood Building Ad Hoc Committee’s work, fire tests supporting changes, allowable heights/stories, fire resistance requirements, and AWC’s Florida AMM Guide. Understanding the "new" mass timber construction types; Overview of ICC's Tall Wood Building Ad Hoc Committee leading to these types; Code requirement summary of newer Mass Timber Construction Types; and familiarize building officials with the Florida Mass Timber AMM Guide for effective compliance.
