This course equips Florida building code officials with evidence-based guidance to evaluate wood-frame construction during plan review and inspections. Using research, field assessments, and code-aligned best practices, participants learn how design, installation quality, and maintenance drive performance; how wood assemblies meet or exceed resilience expectations for high wind, flood, and other hazards; and how energy-efficiency strategies and code updates affect submittals and inspections.
