Proper metal edging is the first line of defense against wind damage on low-slope roof systems. This session will cover Florida Building Code (FBC) requirements for metal edging, including the ANSI/SPRI/FM 4435/ES-1 testing protocol. Attendees will learn how compliance with these standards enhances the long-term performance and protection of roofing systems.
