The When Disaster Strikes (WDS) Institute provides building officials and floodplain managers with training and access to resources to empower them in the wake of disasters. This session begins by reviewing the post-disaster roles and responsibilities typically assigned to code officials in the wake of a disaster. This session then provides an overview of the various WDS Institute training courses, the various delivery options, and accompanying certification opportunities. This course also provides information on available resources and assistance.
